Kimie Flores

Kimie Flores is a mixed media artist from Uvalde, Texas. After graduating from high school, she attended Texas State University and received her BFA in Communication Design, with a minor in Fine Arts. She continued her studies by enrolling in study abroad programs, where she spent some time in Italy. This experience further motivated her to pursue a career in street art.

Her large-scale street-based work really began to progress as she worked under muralists like Federico Archuleta, as she was able to learn from experienced veterans about the various and related cultures and techniques of spray painting, street art, and murals. These experiences inspired Kimie to mash up classical and urban imagery, further developing her style into what it is today.
