Intro Mosaic Workshops are the perfect starting point to learn the art of mosaic making. We provide everything you need to craft a one-of-a-kind artwork.
The experience begins with the foundational mosaic-making techniques. You’ll choose from any of our substrates: a set of coasters, an 8" project, or up to a 12" project, with many fun shapes like cowboy boots, Texas, and bats. We’ll teach you how to cut tesserae using the wheeled nippers and glass scorer to create beautiful andamento and how to glue your mosaic. You’ll get to use our studio’s wide selection of shimmering glass, ceramic, natural stone, and more to create your beautiful personal artwork.
After your workshop, you will have:
A new appreciation for this ancient art form
Knowledge of how to create mosaic art
Mosaic to take home same-day
