Charissa Hearon

Instructor

Charissa Hearon is a versatile artist specializing in mosaics, watercolors, and mixed media. Having lived in Brazil, Italy, and Germany during her formative years, her creative journey has been shaped by a deep connection to diverse cultures and experiences. She holds a B.A. in Global Studies from the University of Tennessee and spent over a decade in San Diego before settling in Austin, Texas.

Inspired by cultural experiences, nature’s patterns, and self-discovery, Charissa found her love for mosaics in 2011 and later embraced watercolors during the pandemic. Her work, infused with whimsy and curiosity, has been exhibited in galleries across San Diego, Austin, and San Francisco.
