Roosevelt “Grey Ghost” Williams was a prolific barrelhouse blues piano player who blessed Austin with his musicianship for 70 years. As the subject of the inaugural Mosaic Workshop mural at the former Something Cool Studios warehouse at Holly Commons on Cesar Chavez at Pedernales, the legacy of the Grey Ghost lives on as this local East Austin music legend presides permanently over the neighborhood.
